How the hours are counted here
- The five year window is the five years that end on your count date: an hour dated exactly five years before the count date is outside it, and the next day is inside.
- Minutes are added up first and shown as hours to two decimal places.
- For Pathways 2 and 3 an entry counts only when it is marked directly supervised and names the supervisor or mentor.
- An entry in a setting marked Other is kept but not counted until you change the setting.
- WHO Code hours count toward both the 90 lactation hours and the 2 WHO Code hours; communication hours count only toward the 5.
- For recertification credits, WHO Code courses are counted as ethics credits and communication courses as related credits, the stricter reading; the certifying body may accept a lactation credit for a lactation focused communication course.
- Pace is the hours you counted in the last 12 weeks, carried forward week by week while older hours leave the window.
- Hours above 40 in one week (Monday to Sunday) are kept but not counted, because the eligibility page caps weekly hours at 40.
- The most recent year is the 12 months that end on your count date, measured the same way as the five year window.
- The two years of practice in your discipline and your licence are not tracked here; the progress page reminds you of them.
