Lactation Ledger is a private hours log for candidates working toward the international lactation consultant exam. Log each clinical session and each course as you go, and see your totals by pathway inside the five year window, your education split and the hours that are about to age out.
Log a session in seconds
Date, minutes, setting, what you did and who supervised. Repeat the last entry with one tap, and log courses with their hours and whether they covered the WHO Code or communication skills.
Counted inside the window
Pathway 1 asks for 1,000 hours, Pathway 2 for 300 and Pathway 3 for 500, all within the five years before you apply. The progress page shows each total, the gap and the hours that leave the window next.
Names stay on your device
Your entries, your supervisors' and mentors' names and your notes are stored only in this browser. There is no account and nothing is uploaded. Never type a patient's or a family's name: the log has no field for one and does not need it.
What it is not
- Lactation Ledger does not determine eligibility. The certifying body decides eligibility. The app shows your logged hours against the published numbers, with the source named.
- It keeps records and does arithmetic. It gives no clinical or medical advice.
